Apple Cider from Hirosaki
Food Tokyo
This was an apple cider made with 100% Japanese apples from Hirosaki, Aomori.
It was light, crisp, and not too sweet. Really refreshing, especially when chilled. Nothing artificial, just a clean apple flavor that made you want to drink it slowly.
I found it at a Santoku supermarket by chance. When I went back to buy it again, it was already gone. I checked a few more times after that, but never saw it again.
Some good things only show up for a short while. Writing this down feels enough.
